Craft: Red Sea Construction Paper Parting<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a simple craft that you could do to show the red sea parting. The picture and website will show how children could use Lego men to cross the Red Sea on their paper.<\/p>\n

Craft: Red Sea Folder<\/strong><\/p>\n

No instructions for this craft but looking at it I think you can see how it is done. Very similar to the craft above but a little bit more complicated so I would do this with the older kids.<\/p>\n

Snack: Part the Red Sea Cupcakes<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a cute snack you could make for your kids. It is a cupcake then has icing (blue would be best) on both sides with a strip left plain the in middle. Then they took a gingerbread sprinkle and placed it in the center towards the back to look like Moses was about to cross. Remember allergy alert.<\/p>\n

Object Lesson: Water Pepper Trick<\/strong><\/p>\n

The video on the website shows how this is done. You need a bowl of water and then a good amount of black pepper in the bowl on top of the water. You stick your finger in just plain and show the kids it does nothing. Then you put a little drop of dish soap on the tip of your finger and put it in and all the pepper will split. I would try this at home just to make sure it works before you do it with the children.<\/p>\n

Game: Red Sea Walk<\/strong><\/p>\n

Place a long line of chairs in 2 rows for the children to run through with the back of the chairs faced inside the area children will walk or run through. Children will line up and each child will put on a colored cloth on the head and take a \u201cwalking stick\u201d and run through the \u201cRED SEA\u201d and then will bring the cloth and stick to the next child in the line and children will continue to RUN thru the \u201cRED SEA\u201d until everyone has had an opportunity to \u201cwalk\u201d through.<\/p>\n
