Craft: Story Summary<\/strong><\/span>
\nA good craft to summarize the story and they can use to tell their parents the story when they get home. All the instructions are on the website below. This craft is going to be better for 3rd-5th grade as it has a lot of cutting and writing.

Game: Talent Hunt<\/strong><\/span>
\nGet chocolate coins or plastic coins and play the game described on the website below.

Game: Bury Talents<\/strong><\/span>
\nGive children an index card and tell children to draw and write a talent that they may have. Then children can bury or hide their card for another classmate to find. If their “talent card” is found, children can get into a circle and discuss their talents that they could use for God.

Craft: Talent Coin Pouch<\/strong><\/span>
\nFor each child:<\/strong> brown coffee filter, yarn, 10 plastic Bingo chips
\nGeneral supplies:<\/strong> hole punch (small hole preferred)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Plastic Bingo chips (to represent \u201ctalents\u201d) are available at party stores or online for about $5 per 500 chips. Any color can be used.
\n\u2022 Unbleached basket coffee filters (not cone shaped filters). Felt circles can replace filters – cut slits with scissors instead of holes.
\n\u2022 Use hole punch to punch holes every few inches, 1 inch from edge of filters. Make sure you have an EVEN number of holes. (To punch many filters at a time, use folding method on the below website to make a pattern. Unfold and punch a stack of filters at one time.)
\n\u2022 Older kids can do the hole punching themselves \u2013 fold unpunched filter in half, then in half again, and two more times, creating a wedge shape. Punch one hole through all layers making 16 holes.<\/p>\n

To Assemble:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Each child takes one filter and one piece of yarn
\n\u2022 Child threads the yarn back and forth through the holes to form a drawstring bag.
\n\u2022 Each child gets 10 \u201ctalents\u201d to put in his pouch
