Good morning, Father.
During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. As I was running an errand the other day, I had to write an item on my hand in ink because I had no paper to write on. Have you ever done that? It prompted me to think about Jesus’ nail-scarred hands. What does this tell me about what God thinks about me?
He has engraved my name on the palms of His hands because I am so precious to Him. Engraving means “to cut into” and implies permanence. Jesus refuses to forget me; He doesn’t give up. He chooses to love me.
Question: What does God remember about you? How much He Loves YOU. The nail-scarred hands of His Son bear the scars to testify to that. (John 3:16)
Father, this is what I want to teach my preschoolers this week as we prepare for Easter morning.
In the name of Jesus, He who holds you in His hands,
