Good morning, Father.
During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray for these children.
Father, help me to worship the KING this Christmas. I want to take a prayer journey to Bethlehem. I desire each day, on my own, with my family, or with the preschoolers I encounter, to step aside for a few minutes to worship Him for who He is and what He means to me.
True worship expresses itself in giving. The wise men followed a star to find the King. They were so enthralled with His majesty and holiness that they brought Jesus gifts:
Gold – the most precious of metals; representing the treasure of the heart
Frankincense – used to worship God; incense as a symbol of prayer
Myrrh – used to preserve the body at death; symbolizes death and resurrection; could
mean “to take up our cross daily” and choose to trust Him
What gift will you bring Jesus?
In the powerful name of Jesus–the Babe, your Savior, Lord of Peace,
