Good morning, Father
Children are an amazing gift from You.
Father God, children need assurance. Maybe that is why they like to be tucked in at night and then pray their good night prayers with a parent. You know, security when things are dark. I want them to know where their security comes from. Help me to teach them about Your Presence, watchful care, hand covering, and Your everlasting help in every time of need. Help me to see with Your eyes, be sensitive to their emotions, and love as Jesus did as I encounter my preschoolers. You are Lord who is there.
“But You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts up my head. I cry aloud to the Lord, and He answers me from His holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again because the Lord sustains me” (Psalm 3:3-5, CSB).
In the name of Jesus, Great Light,
