Good morning, Father.

As we enter a season of thanksgiving, may I take time to see Your hand in my life and the abundant blessings I enjoy. I am most thankful for the gift of salvation. Equip me and form my words to speak life and truth to those who hear. I want to say words that point others back to You. My heart’s desire is that salvation has a firm foundation in the hearts of the preschoolers I teach and serve this week. Open their hearts to Jesus’ glory. Thank you for preparing a forever home for us with You.

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of . . . and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”  (2 Timothy 3:15)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning, Father.

Life really is a special occasion.  As I touch the lives of preschoolers this week, help me to teach gratitude. In my actions and words may I reflect a grateful heart. Father, open the children’s eyes to your daily blessings and create in them a grateful heart.

“This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  (Psalm 118:24)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning, Father.

I desire to help others understand and learn to love the Bible by making learning Scripture fun. The Bible isn’t just another book–it has the potential to come alive and teach preschoolers lessons to guide them the rest of their lives. Help me to be creative as I share the Gospel with my preschoolers. May my activities be age appropriate, engaging, and spur memorization of memory verses, application of the story truth, and bring forth fruit of salvation at an early age. May I be willing to think ahead as I prepare. Using dress up with towels, sheets, blankets, or clothing makes learning fun and memorable as we act out our story for the week.

“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.”  (Psalm 34:11)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.
