Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray for these children.

Father, help me to worship the KING this Christmas. I want to take a prayer journey to Bethlehem. I desire each day, on my own, with my family, or with the preschoolers I encounter, to step aside for a few minutes to worship Him for who He is and what He means to me. Today, I reflect on the many ways a humble birth in Bethlehem changed everything. Come look at the baby and behold the King.

THE WORD: “The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”  (John 1:14, HCSB)

Sovereign Lord, You are the lover of our souls. Before we were even formed, it was decided that Jesus would willingly be the atonement ransom for sinners. Thank You. As I think on these precious preschoolers, I desire that they will be single hearted, willing to be sold out to Jesus Christ. Father, show me my role in their development.

“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2, HCSB)

Good morning, Father

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray for these children.

Lord, submission does not come naturally to us. Our inner man screams me, my, and mine; especially, as a preschooler. My prayer is that these preschoolers will learn about submission and will one day totally submit to You. Protect them as they grow physically and spiritually, so that they will actively resist Satan in all circumstances. Father, show me my roll in their development.

“Therefore, submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray for these children.

Father, there are reasons you give us boundaries. As these preschoolers grow older and are tempted in so many ways sexually, I ask that You help them to say “no”–to choose to remain pure. How sad that these precious children will be expected to live life so much earlier than their age. That is not Your design or desire. So I ask You to preserve not only themselves but also those whom they will marry to be kept pure until marriage. Father, help me in my role in their spiritual development.

“God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.” (1 Corinthians 6:14, HCSB)

Good morning. Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray for these children.

Father, I know what you mean by the biblical definition of marriage. Sadly, our world does not agree. I am praying years in advance for my preschoolers regarding dating and marriage. I ask that they be kept from the wrong mates and saved for the right ones. Father, help me in my role in their spiritual development.

“Do not be mismatched with unbelievers.” (2 Corinthians 6:14, HCSB)
