Good morning, Father.

I love that You love me. Your Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Father, I ask that You create loving hearts in the preschoolers I teach; help them to be patient and kind and to love Your ways. Let love pour out of their spirits onto others. May I always instruct and lead out of Your love.

“Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrongs; finds no joy in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a, HCSB)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning, Father.

My prayer today begins with myself. I desire to be a woman (man) of integrity. When I am with others, I want my presence to be a character of influence that will always bring You glory, honor, and praise. I want to be selfless and always consider others first. Generosity of my time, money, talents, and gifts should be evident as I live out life in Your mercy and grace. Lord, create the character of Generosity in the children I serve, for Your word says it is more blessed to give than receive.

“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”  (2 Corinthians 9:11)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning, Father.

The preschoolers you have entrusted to me as I serve are so precious. You created each of them with the Breath of the Almighty. As I get to know them one on one, give me a glimpse of their design and understanding to the way they are wired. I want to make the most of the short time I have with them.

As I pray today, I ask that Your hope and peace fill their young hearts with all Your goodness. Help me to show them what hope and peace are, especially as we enter a season of Thanksgiving. Thank You, Father, for Your goodness to me.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  (Romans 15:13)

In the power of Jesus’ name, Amen.
