Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation.

Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter as we prepare for Promotion Sunday, August 7. May I be remembered as someone who was faithful to the call, by loving the children and parents well and by accurately sharing Your Word to soft hearts ready to receive. My prayer is that children will ask Jesus into their hearts at an early age because they have chosen to be a part of Your forever family. Bless them and their families as they move forward to the next age class. May the boys and girls bond quickly with their new teachers and classmates this fall. Thank You, Father, for the many blessings I receive as I serve You.

“God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29b, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the heart of each preschooler I encounter. Today I am praying for a happy, cheerful heart. My heart’s desire is that each child would come to faith early and would trust easily and completely in You. I pray they learn that true joy comes from You.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I praise Him with my song.” (Psalm 28:7, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter re: their mouth. I ask that You keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking lies. You know the first instinct with each preschooler is “me.” It will be by Your power that their words will be pleasing to You. Help them as they grow to edify others and speak the truth.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter, from head to toe. I pray for their ears. God, I pray that Your children would be quick to hear and that they would incline their ears to listen to instruction. Help me as I speak to be clear, correct, and patient as they learn to listen and do.

“My dearly loved brothers, understand this: everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.” (James 1:19, HCSB)
