Good morning, Father

Father, children are a gift–an amazing blessing from You. As teachers, mentors, parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles, we have the power to make a difference in their precious lives through prayer. Thank you.

God of Mercy, You knew we needed a Savior. So Jesus left glorious heaven to be our Rescuer. He didn’t remain a baby; but He grew up to be a man, died on a cross, rose from the dead, and now lives forever so that we can, too. That is my prayer as I journey with my preschoolers to Bethlehem. Help us day by day to worship Jesus for who He is and what He means to us. Bethlehem changed everything. May we look at the baby and behold the King.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14, CSB)

Good morning, Father

Children are a gift, Father–an amazing blessing from you. As a teacher, mentor, parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle, I have the power to make a difference in their precious lives through prayer. Because You see, know, and are there, I am confident You care for them better than me.

Lord, we are in a season of thankfulness. Your many blessings, our bounty, what we hold near and dear to our hearts, we give thanks to You. I want to thank You for providing eternal salvation. It is my fervent prayer that children would come to know Christ as Savior and Lord.  I desire that their hearts from an early age would be drawn to You. Show me my part in teaching them the wonder of walking closely with You. Thank You for sending Jesus for me.

I claim the promises found in Your Word: Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16; John 8:32

Good morning, Father

During 2017 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Teach me how to pray blessings for these children and their families.

My prayer today is that the children I encounter will always know how much they are loved. Father, make them aware that You are loving and kind. Fill them with faith to believe Your words are true. Help them find great confidence in the security of Your love for them.

I claim the promises found in Your Word: John 15:13, 1 John 3:1 and Jeremiah 31:3.

Father, as we enter a time of Thanksgiving, help me to tell my preschoolers what I am thankful for in my life. Remind me of those things as I go about my day. Maybe I should put a thankful jar in my home or classroom and daily write on a piece of paper things or people I am grateful for. What a beautiful thing to read out loud at the dinner table to family or to share with friends or my students or in private when I spend time with You. May I always have a grateful heart and spirit.

Father, I want to be positive with the preschoolers I encounter. Your Word says that Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man. Help me as I form the minds of these preschoolers. May my words convey encouragement:

1. I’d love to hear about it.
2. You figured it out–that’s awesome!
3. One step at a time–you’re doing it!
4. I know that was a new thing for you–excellent try!
