Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation.

Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter as we prepare for Promotion Sunday, August 7. May I be remembered as someone who was faithful to the call, by loving the children and parents well and by accurately sharing Your Word to soft hearts ready to receive. My prayer is that children will ask Jesus into their hearts at an early age because they have chosen to be a part of Your forever family. Bless them and their families as they move forward to the next age class. May the boys and girls bond quickly with their new teachers and classmates this fall. Thank You, Father, for the many blessings I receive as I serve You.

“God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29b, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the heart of each preschooler I encounter. Today I am praying for a happy, cheerful heart. My heart’s desire is that each child would come to faith early and would trust easily and completely in You. I pray they learn that true joy comes from You.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I praise Him with my song.” (Psalm 28:7, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter re: their mouth. I ask that You keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking lies. You know the first instinct with each preschooler is “me.” It will be by Your power that their words will be pleasing to You. Help them as they grow to edify others and speak the truth.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter, from head to toe. I pray for their ears. God, I pray that Your children would be quick to hear and that they would incline their ears to listen to instruction. Help me as I speak to be clear, correct, and patient as they learn to listen and do.

“My dearly loved brothers, understand this: everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.” (James 1:19, HCSB)

Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter, from head to toe. I pray for their eyes. Father, guard Your children’s eyes and protect their innocence. I pray that they would focus their attention on doing what is right. Help me to see my part and show me what to do.

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Father, I desire to pray for the preschoolers I encounter, from head to toe. I pray for their minds. I pray that Your children would earnestly seek wisdom and understanding even at an early age. I pray that they would value knowledge and discernment and that their thoughts would stay centered on the truths of God’s Word. Father, equip me to do my part as I serve You.

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. As we remember fathers this Sunday on Father’s Day, I pray for three things:
1. Good reputation–Help dads to be honest, trustworthy, and be the kind of man others respect.
2. Success–Show dads what is important to You. Teach them to do everything for You, and give them success.
3. Friends and family–Help dads to find time for family. Give them wise, honest, and loving friends.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.”

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation. Lord, show the dads of my preschoolers how to be kind and loving, slow to anger, and quick to forgive. Give them the kind of heart You have, Father—one that is full of love for His children and others.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and full of faithful love. . . . As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.”

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation.

Today I lift up the fathers of the preschoolers I encounter this week. Give each father wisdom and direction whenever he needs to know what to do or say. Help him to trust You in each decision he makes, and guard his mind with Your peace. Help him to make it his goal to fill his mind with good thoughts and to keep it clear of things he shouldn’t think about. After all, You have a special place in your heart for fathers. You are one!

“Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5, HCSB)

Good morning, Father.

During 2016 help me to be faithful in my prayer walk. It is most important that we who serve preschoolers remember to pray for the next generation.

Today I lift up the fathers of the preschoolers I encounter this week. Lord, make each father healthy and strong. Help him to take care of his body because it is Your temple. When he is sick, heal him quickly. When he has hard work to do, give him energy to finish the job well. After all, You have a special place in your heart for fathers. You are one!
