Good morning, Father.

Children are an amazing gift from You.

Father, bless the preschoolers I encounter with wisdom. They are like sponges and absorb everything. Even at an early age, You fill them with truth of You. As they sing Bible songs, hear stories about Jesus and other saints from Your Word, or watch movies designed to teach about You, develop in them a hunger for more. Fill them with the knowledge and fear of You, for that is where all wisdom begins.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10, CSB)

Good morning, Father.

Children are an amazing gift from You.

Father, I am praying that You bathe my preschoolers in restful, confident hope as they trust in You. May they learn about, abide in, and overflow with Your peace.

“For I know the plans I have for you”- this is the Lord’s declaration – “plans for your well-being, not for disaster; to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11, CSB)

Good morning, Father

Children are an amazing gift from You.

Father God, we live in times where we need protection–protection from harm, danger, and evil intent. I pray for the protection of my preschoolers whether at home, school, or play. I ask for the ministry of Your protective angels to be around them. Thank you that You are our safe place, hiding place, shielded place. You are the Defender and Protector of my preschoolers.

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and rescues them.”
(Psalm 34:7, CSB)

Good morning, Father

Children are an amazing gift from You.

Father God, children need encouragement. How easy it is to forget that they are always learning, being successful as well as making mistakes as their minds and bodies develop.
When do we need encouragement? When we are tired and weak, standing at crossroads, moving through stages of life, or goofing up. Encouragement doesn’t sound like much, but it’s everything. Help me to be my preschoolers biggest encourager! May my words and actions meet a need at just the right time. Thank you, Father that Your encouragement is with them, Your hope is in them, and Your grace is upon them.

“Bright eyes cheer the heart; good news strengthens the bones.” (Proverbs 15:30, CSB)
